  Gents , This is a prelim SITREP
We had a blast down in dago this pass weekend .Unfortunately Ned Lester who organized this reunion had to leave Friday AM and attend his sisters funeral . RADM Jackson gave an inspired speech Friday nite and Commandore Russell gave a very informing briefing Sat Night .We had over 20 VAQ-130 personnel including maintemance troops attending last
nights banquet .
 

Sitrep !   # 1  Ned Lester lost his sister Friday and left with his wife Friday AM , #2  Radm Jackson gave an inspired speech to us all Friday nite  #3 I assumed the duties of "baby Z" and ran around like a chicken with no head ,  smartly     . #4 40 some old Zappers gathered and had a blast !  We toured the Midway , had lunch and convoyed over to NAS North Island for a tour and touchy feeliey of both an EA-18G and an EA6B   #5  The Zappers of VAQ130 led the way onboard CVAN-74 USS Stennis and we toured the ship . #7  Last nites banquet was led by Commadore Russell who gave a briefing of both the new EA-18G and the EA6B 's role in the Navy's EW future . #8  We had at least 20 active duty Zappers attending , 10 over Ned's count including maintenance troops held over from the squadrons CQ period off the USS Stennis some of which could not attend because they were fixing a nose gear problem on one of they birds .
 
 
This is just a prelim report , more to follow and pics after a long NAP !! My legs are shot as is my voice !! Remember we toured two boats in one day up and down those vertical ladders and knee knockers ! Feel free to post this rambling report to all hands !!
